Let’s start off with an amazing fact that I bet you’ll tell multiple people today.

The 10th President of the United States, John Tyler, who was born just 14 years after independence in 1790 (when George Washington was president) has a living grandchild

I don’t know about you, but if I’d have been asked about that, I would have said it was impossible, but it has been verified.

That is pretty mind-blowing, isn’t it?

Several years ago, I used to take time out to compile a report that analysed what blogs were earning and the results were pretty interesting.

Compiling the report was mind-numbing and boring just me, a spreadsheet and a lot of boring data.

However, compiling this report allowed me to spot the decline of Adsense over a few years, that Amazon FBA and e-commerce were on the increase and growing year on year.

The report had a practical use, it allowed people to see what blogs in their niches were earning and what they were valued at based on the type of monetisation.

The most interesting part of the report was what blogs were selling for and the factors that influenced cost.
