Bad Stuff Happens -Let Adversity Drive Your Business Forward
Over the last 18 years as an Online Marketer, I have faced two major issues that threatened to derail my business.
In both situations, the easiest thing would have been to roll up into a ball and let my business die.
I didn’t
In both cases, I came up with simple solutions that would make my online business stronger.
Adversity 1: The Google Slap
At one point, I had hundreds of websites and millions of pages indexed in Google, these pages were earning me $400 a day on average with Adsense.
Life was good!
Then overnight, it dried up.
Google had delisted all my sites. I went from $400 a day to around $10 a day.
It was devastating.
At this point the sensible thing would be to have packed it all in, instead, I decided to start over and do something I never wanted to do, build an email list and do email marketing.
My lesson had been a simple one, own as much of your business as possible, from that day forward, I was in control, and I was building an asset.
