Death and Resurrection In Blogland

Blogging Is Dead

To paraphrase Monty Python

Blogging is dead, it has ceased to be, it has shuffled off its mortal coil, it’s kicked the bucket, it’s run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible!!

Or is it?

Let's find out.

I have a love-hate relationship with blogging, it’s how I started in Online Marketing almost 20 years ago.

Time and time again, it has given me a beating and time and time again, I’ve come back… next time will be different.

But it never is.

At one point, I was earning $400+ each day with my blogs, then Google changed the Algorithm, and the next day I was back to $10 a day.

The clue to the problem with blogging is in that sentence above….. GOOGLE

The Google Obsession

The big problem with blogging isn’t blogging itself it’s the obsession that people have with ranking on Google.

If you write a blog post today, it’s going to be a while before you see any results. To rank high in Google, you are then going to have to spend months building up a link profile by getting backlinks.
