Around 20 years ago I purchased some software to help me build websites from a fellow member of a forum I was in.
I struggled for a few days to get it to work, it was good software but difficult to set up properly. On checking the forum I saw that many other people were having the same problems I was having.
So I fixed it!
I set it up again, created a short description and screenshots of every step involved, and then created a PDF document. after spending hours finding out how to create PDF’s!
The next day, I went back into the forum and offered my document to everyone who was having problems for $10.
The CTA was:
Paypal $10 to <email address>, and I’ll send you the document.
I woke up the next day to several hundred dollars in my PayPal account.
I was hooked!
Since that day, I have created over 100 courses for both myself and ghostwritten courses for other people.
Longterm Income vs Short Term Income
The great thing about online courses is that they can be used as long term income or short term income, and anything in between.
