I’ve been using this “Engage | Empower | Enrich” strategy for many years, long before I coined the term or wrote the book. It’s been responsible for every win along the way, for emails that generated thousands of dollars to cohorts and courses that helped people buy their first houses… it works!

This strategy is designed to break down audience development into three separate stages. Your ultimate goal is to build relationships with your audience before ever asking for a transaction.

Let’s look at each stage:

1. Engage: Capturing Attention and Sparking Interest

The first step of the process is to engage. This is all about getting on your audience’s radar and drawing them in with content that resonates.

At this stage, you want to showcase what’s possible if they follow your system, providing valuable, actionable insights they can immediately apply.
