How Communities Help You Continue The Conversation
I suspect that over the next 12 months, you’ll hear more about communities and less about newsletters as the next logical step in your business.
2023 Content => Newsletters
2024 Content => Communities
Like Newsletters, communities are nothing new, I had my first community back in 2006. It was amazingly successful and grew to 1,300 members paying $27 per month.
I’ll let you do the math on that, it will make me cry if I do it as I closed it down to focus on building courses… (see, I am an Idiot!)
Since then, I have run various communities, and they are my favourite thing about online marketing.
Let’s look at things you need to consider before you set up a community.
Communities Continue The Conversation
After I post this article today, I’ll make a post in my Inner Circle about it; I’ll drop additional ideas and tips and the members and I will no doubt come up with more ideas about how to build successful communities.
You see, communities are a two-way ongoing conversation with people of various skills who combine to create something better. We all learn from each other no matter our abilities.
