You’ve Just Got To Find The Right Angle

It was once said to me that nothing bad ever happens to an email marketer.

That was the day after we’d got burned out in a wildfire and lost two cars and part of the house. I’d just done what any self-respecting email marketer would do, send an offer to my list and priced all my products at $9.11 (911… get it :) )

Email marketers don’t have a monopoly on creating content from daily events.

Anything can spark a Tweet or piece of content into life.

Have a weird combination of ice creams… that’s content!

Go shopping and find that Avocados have gone up in price… that’s content.

But it can be so much more than just basic content, if you have a unique perspective, it can elevate your content from ordinary to extraordinary.

The Three Elements of Great Content

Over the years, I’ve found that there are 3 elements that can lift any piece of content or email.

The Story — this is the main body of the content.
