It’s Probably Not What You Think

2 years ago, I moved to Twitter from Facebook, and in a few months, I had built a new audience.

I’ve now started a Threads account and intend to do the same.

The question is how I will build that audience… not as you would probably expect.

Step One — Create a great profile

This is what you want your audience to see and interact with, so it requires 3 things.

1. What You Have Done/ What You Are Doing
2. How you will help your audience
3. How to find out more

Step Two — Post Regularly

No one is interested in a boring empty account, so post regularly, at least 2 or 3 times a day.

In addition to that, take your most helpful post and pin it to the top of your account if that feature is available.

Ensure that this pinned post has a link to your “First Point Of Contact” which could be a newsletter, a free report or a link to your blog.
