How To Write and Publish A Book In 14 Days
It’s easier than you think.
A week ago, I decided to run a challenge in the inner circle: Write a Book In 14 Days.
Seven days later, I am ready to publish. This is entirely down to the system I used.
Here is the system.
The System
Have you noticed the rise and success of book summary sites like Blinkist?
They take well-known non-fiction books and summarise them down to the key points. They can only do this because most books are bloated and written to a specific word count.
“Hi, can you give us 70,000 words on beating procrastination?”
So, instead of writing a 50,000+ word book, we will write a mini book packed full of details and no fluff.
These books will be between 6000 and 8000 words and focus on one topic. We will also make the process as simple as possible.
When I wrote my first book in 2011, the process was awful, and I swore never to write another book. I am now going to write 12 books in 12 months and spend less than 7 days writing each of them.
