Start By Questioning Yourself

Ask yourself what your audience needs (not wants!), their pain points, and what keeps them awake at night?

Which of these issues can YOU help with?

Once you have answers to these questions, create a lead magnet that focuses on fixing one problem.

NOTE: The most significant issues I’ve found when analysing hundreds of lead magnets is that they are either too long or they are purely theoretical and don’t offer any practical help.

Keep your lead magnets to 5–10 pages and offer practical advice

Deliver Actionable Information

Your lead magnet should deliver some actionable information that allows the reader to take action and see results. When your audience has read the lead magnet, they should be able to improve their situation and have an action plan.

This proves to them you can help.
