Life was good, I was earning between $300 and $400 a day with AdSense and my income grew each week.

Over 3 years, I had built a large network of blogs on various topics, at this point, I had over 1.6 million pages ranking in Google.

I was living the dream!

Then I woke up to $10 earnings instead of the usual $400

I’d been Google slapped.

Here is how I recovered and surpassed what I lost.

It is easy to say this now but that Google slap was one of the best things to happen to me. (It didn’t feel like it at the time)

$10 a day didn’t cover the Domain costs or hosting fees, so I was forced to go back to step one and start over.

After feeling sorry for myself for a few days I decided to start over and to never rely solely on a big tech company for my income again.
