I think that the key time for Threads will be:

A) When they add all the fediverse stuff.

B) When Twitter (never X) has to either clean up it's act or close down.

Moderation seems to be very good on there at the moment and The majority of the Threads members are extremely good at cleaning their timelines, they will block any political or shitposts.

I hold out a lot of hope for it
