Low-cost offers are an appealing route when you aim to empower your audience and help them reach their goals.

In this article I’ll highlight three options that strike a balance between affordability and impact: newsletters, communities, and mini-courses.

But as with any decision, it’s important to weigh the pros and cons. Here’s a breakdown of what I think is your best approach that might suit you best.

1. Newsletters

Advantages:

Ease of setup and growth: Starting a newsletter is as simple as it gets. Platforms like Substack offer a low-barrier entry point where you can get started for free, only incurring costs if you transition to paid subscriptions. This makes it a very low-risk way to test the waters.

Direct communication: One of the best features of a newsletter is that it opens a direct channel to your audience. You control the conversation, and it allows for personal touches that keep people coming back.

Monetization potential: You can keep it free to build your audience, with the option to monetize by offering premium content for paid subscribers.
