Medium Earnings — Down The Drain!!!
This is very demotivating.
My logical side tells me that this must be a glitch with medium stats , but my experienced side that went from $400 a day to $10 with Google AdSense tells me it’s more corporate shenanigans!
The longer it takes for Medium to Communicate with us the more I tend to believe that this is the new reality of the partner program.
On top of this, I have yet to receive my payment for last month, which is very concerning. (However, having checked, it’s changed to pending overnight, so I suspect I can stop worrying about that.)
This time last year, that article above that earned $1.13 would have been 5-10x that.
As an illustration, this is how my payouts have declined since May last year.
Medium Still Has Value
Although the partner program may be in permanent decline, that doesn’t mean Medium has no value.
As you can see from the first Image, I’ve now started to post free articles to see if I can reach a wider audience. I’ll post one each day and see how they have performed after a month.
