Medium The New Bum Marketing?
One of my overriding beliefs is that ANYONE can build an online business and make money online. This came from a simple product I bought back in 2009
Back then, Travis Sago created a product called the Bum Marketing Method. The principle was anyone with an idea could write an article and earn money from it, either via affiliate links or AdSense ads on the article.
The name Bum Marketing came from the idea that even if you were homeless, you could walk into a public library and write an article and post it from there.
Back then, there were sites such as Ezine Articles where you could post your articles, enter your Adsense details and earn from the ads or links in your articles.
The method was simple: write an article, post it to a site, add your AdSense details… rinse and repeat.
People were making a lot of money from that simple process.
Unfortunately, Google eventually stopped ranking articles from such sites, and the method died.

After that, people (Gurus) started coming up with more complicated methods of generating online income.
