Proper Networking Is A Superpower
Several years ago, I wanted to go to Las Vegas for a week. It had been several years since I last visited, and I needed to renew my wardrobe. (Protip: Vegas is a great place to shop!)
Obviously, I didn’t want to pay for it!
So I called up a friend I’d met online and asked him if he fancied organising an event in Las Vegas.
3 months later, my plane touched down.
Fast forward 12 months and I get a Skype call from someone else I know from The Warrior Forum.
“Hey Mark, I am organising a Warrior Forum Event In London, and we are looking for speakers to do an hour on stage, fancy it?”
A few months later, I stood in front of an audience of Warrior Forum members telling them that there is a better way to make money online than the Warrior Forum! But that is a story for another day.
I’ve since had several calls that have resulted in me talking at events in several European countries. Writing sections of courses for “gurus”, doing podcasts, writing a chapter for a book, picking up 4000 email subscribers overnight etc.
How did this come around?
