Probably too late now but you can force it to auto refresh...

… posts. This is where you can promote your newsletter image automatically after some of your posts. The reason I haven’t done this is because X is still caching an old newsletter image. I need to wait for it to refresh.

And spark loop..urghhhh so confusing, they do have a free version but it's well hidden!
