Backstory

On January 1st I closed down my existing Online Business that I’d had for almost 17 years. That business sold courses and had various communities based in Facebook groups.

Following some medical issues last year it was all becoming a bit much for me to manage, I wanted a simple business that was flexible and that I could run in under an hour a day.

I also deleted all social media apart from Twitter and closed all my existing Courses.

I retained my Inner Circle (community & training) but switched it to a Small Annual subscription for new members.

I started 2022 with virtually $0 Income, no courses to sell, and a New Twitter Account (opened on November 21st)

Results

Q1 Net Income $12671
Q2 Net Income $14566

Growth 14.95%

2022 Goal

Build a 6 figure Twitter-based Business.. so no pressure!

Q2 Income & Growth Stats

Twitter Followers; 1250
For the 2nd quarter in a row, I failed to hit my follower growth target. However, I’ve realized that the quality of followers is more important than quantity so I am happy with where we are.

Growth is speeding up over the past few weeks.

Email Subscribers: 1908

Didn’t quite hit my 2000 follower target BUT I did remove about 300 unengaged subs. Got 105 subs on one day last week, so growth is looking good for now.

Created a 3rd product 30 Minute Affiliate for Q3

Affiliate Sales: I’ve broken this down into 3 groups as they are tracked differently. (Also some have instant payouts, others take 30–60 days)

Gumroad products: $675.85 (Q1 $2894.05 Deliberate policy to reduce Affiliate sales and focus on my own sales)
Non-Gumroad products: $3974.04 (Q1 $2193.61)
Pending commission (earned but not paid out) $2091.57
Misc income (writing emails for clients, coaching calls etc) $3870

Total Gross Income: $14911.61 (Q1$13026.31​)
