Where do you go to get your coffee?

A cafe where you feel welcomed and know the staff, or a random cafe where you know no one?

When you buy something, do you go for the cheapest option or brands you trust?

Selling your offers is no different if people feel they know you and they trust you, then you have a much better chance of making a sale.

People buy from people they like.

Building Engagement

To build engagement, show people that you are like them and that you have a lot in common.

Someone mentioned a band I liked the other day in a positive light (rare! Why does no one know Chumbawumba!), and that’s someone I’ll pay more attention to.

If someone tells a story I can relate to… I’ll pay attention to them.

Building Trust

Build trust by following through on your promises. If your content promises seven ways to increase sales, deliver on it.

Likewise, avoid clickbait titles that don’t deliver.
