Most of the content you see about Online Marketing has a fatal flaw, in fact, I am just as guilty of this as most people.

Selling The Journey, Not The Destination!

I’ll highlight the problem In this article, and show you a better approach.

The Problem

It’s a common instinct to guide others by showing them what to do. Naturally, we tend to focus on what our audience needs to do.

For example, last week, I published this article that did very well:

In it, I gave several tips for increasing the number of sales you make.

Imagine if I was using that article to promote an offer, it would be a natural thing to do and then have a call to action to a product that went deeper into the topic. (I didn’t have a call to action)

This is the type of content you see everywhere.
