The Simplest Growth Strategy I Know
The problem with most of us is that we try to guess what our audience wants, which often leads to us heading down a blind alley and being unable to find our way back!
I am speaking from experience here, I have made too many mistakes by assuming I knew what my audience wanted.
I used to send out content, offers, and emails, hoping something would stick. Occasionally, I’d hit a home run (or a six if you prefer cricket!), but more often than not, I’d strike out.
But there’s a more straightforward, more human way to grow:
Just ask: “What are you interested in?”
It sounds too basic to matter. But this one question can transform your business.
Curiosity Scales Better Than Strategy
When someone joins your newsletter, email list, buys a product, or leaves a comment, you have a moment of opportunity.
Most people ignore it. Some send an automated message. A few then follow up with a pitch (urghhhhh don’t do that!)
But the most effective thing I’ve done?
I ask people what they’re interested in.
