For years, I thought the key to success was targeting people who needed my products.

  • People who needed to get fit.
  • People who needed to make more money.
  • People who needed to eat better.

Sounds logical, right?

But here’s the problem: people who need something aren’t always motivated to take action.

They may hesitate, procrastinate, or look for the cheapest option.

Contrast that with people who want something.

  • People who want to get fit will buy premium gym memberships, designer workout gear, and expensive supplements.
  • People who want to make money will invest in books, courses, and coaching.
  • People who want to eat better will pay extra for organic food and nutrition plans.
