Update: My Second Month On Substack
Why didn’t I start Sooner?
Yesterday was two months since my first post on Substack, and if you are interested, this is how things have gone:
Headline Stat… I earned more money with a weekly post this month than I did publishing content daily here on Medium!
Subscribers
In the past 30 days, I picked up another 86 subscribers, so we are averaging just short of 3 per day, bringing the total to 245 at the moment.
These subscribers generated 2640 views with 200 subscribers (Up 500+ over last month) compared to 800 more on Medium with 6000 subscribers…ouch!
Followers
In addition to subscribers, I’ve picked up 437 followers; these are people who read my notes and are likely subscribers.
Substack has 3 levels of “engagement”
Followers => Subscribers => Paid Subscribers
There are also “founder members “, but I include them as paid subscribers.
