Why Do You Write?
Get clarity on your writing.
Why do you write?
Is it for the joy of creating something new?
To drive traffic to something that will make you money?
To get likes and subscribers?
First, let me assure you that there are no wrong answers as long as you are writing to achieve your goals.
Writing to build an income and simply for the joy of creation are valid reasons to write. And never let anyone tell you otherwise.
I’ve just jumped off a livestream where I was chatting with a friend about processes. We got into why people turn up day after day and why they often turn up for the wrong reason.
Writing articles or creating videos to be like a high-earning writer on Medium or Mr Beast is the wrong reason to turn up, turn up for what you want, not what others are doing.
You should be turning up to get those one or two clicks from people who you can help find their way or help cheer up on a bad day.
This article might only get 20 reads, but if ONE of you reads it and thinks,…Yeah, I need to write for the right reason, then it will have been successful.
