Why I Rarely “Create” Content Anymore
“But Mark, you publish every day!”
One of the questions I get asked the most is how do I manage to publish so much content without burning out.
The answer is simple, I don’t…
I stopped trying to create content from scratch long ago.
Instead, I document.
I write about what I’m doing.
What I’m noticing.
What I’m learning.
What I’ve said to someone else that might help others too.
What I’ve been asked in comments and DM’s
Not just with articles but also with videos, community posts, and newsletters.
It’s the simplest shift I've ever made and probably the most effective.
Be Yourself
This wouldn’t be possible if I were trying to role-play a big-name guru who has a new strategy every month and a new course every quarter.
But I only talk about what I am doing and what is working for me and occasionally how I screwed it up.
“Document, don’t create.” (copyright Gary V)
And it’s not just a clever phrase, it’s a practical strategy.
