There’s short-form writing.

And then there’s real short-form writing.

Most of us overwrite. We ramble. We explain too much.

I’m guilty of this.

I used to start every article with a fog of unnecessary words. This would result in long boring content that no one read.

Then I found 55-word stories.

They are simple, Here’s the only rule:

Write a full story — beginning, middle, end — in exactly 55 words.

No more, no less.

It’s brutal. But It’s brilliant.

It will teach you clarity, pacing, and punch.

And it’s the perfect warm-up before any writing session.

When it comes to writing your content you’ll find you are saying so much more with far fewer unnecessary words.

Try writing one each morning. You’ll be surprised what you can say when every word counts.

Here’s one of mine:

Speed kid, it’s all about speed.

I can teach you to ride fast, but I can’t give you speed. That’s a god given talent.

You are the best I’ve seen, but the others have more experience.

So get out there and ride like your life depended on it.

Then next week, the stabilisers come off.

If want to turn habits like this into a system for writing simple, effective content that actually leads to sales?
