So, you’ve got your email marketing strategy in place, but your conversions aren’t where you want them to be.

It might be time to look at your email copy.

Here are some strategies for creating emails that grab your reader’s attention and drive them to take action.

Speak to Your Audience

Firstly, it’s essential to know who your audience is.

Use the information you’ve gathered about your subscribers to tailor your emails to their interests and needs. Use segments and conditional content to ensure subscribers see content they are interested it.

If you’re speaking directly to your reader, they’re more likely to pay attention.

Have a Clear Goal

Your email should have a specific goal: sell a product, share a blog post, or invite subscribers to an event etc.

Make sure this goal is clear in your email copy. Your subscribers should know exactly what you want them to do after reading your email.

Write a Compelling Subject Line

The subject line is the first thing your subscribers see, so make it count. It should be compelling enough to make them want to open the email and read more.
