You don’t need a fancy funnel. You don’t need a logo. And you sure as hell don’t need to spend thousands on ads, coaches, or software.
All you need is a phone, a story, and a platform.
In fact, you can start earning online without spending a single penny. This isn’t theory. This is modern bum marketing — the 2025 version.
And yes, it works. (It’s pretty much what I do every day!)
Step 1: Write on Medium
Medium is free. You don’t need hosting, plugins, or even an existing audience. Just an idea, a title, and a few paragraphs that help someone.
Medium readers value good writing and clear thinking. If you have a story, a lesson, or a unique perspective, there’s a place for you.
At the bottom of your posts, link to your newsletter or offer (more later in the article). That’s your first micro-commitment from the reader.
